We are located in the heart of the Lincoln Park district at 2033 W Superior St., Duluth, MN. We are open daily from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm to serve our community.

We understand that parking in Duluth can be a challenge, you have two convenient options for parking when you visit us:

• Street Parking: There is metered and unmetered street parking available directly near the store on Superior Street and the surrounding avenues.
• Public Free Lot: A free public parking lot with 70+ spaces is located less than two blocks away on Superior Street, providing a reliable and cost-free option for our customers.

What are the legal purchase and possession limits in Minnesota?

Under Minnesota law, adults 21 and older may purchase and possess up to 2 ounces of cannabis flower, 8 grams of concentrate, and 800 milligrams of THC in edible products per transaction. At home, you are legally allowed to possess up to 2 pounds of cannabis flower.

Where am I legally allowed to consume cannabis?

You can enjoy our products on private property and in private residences (with the owner’s permission). Please note that public consumption—including on sidewalks, in parks, or on Lake Superior trails—is generally prohibited by local ordinances. Additionally, the Minnesota Clean Indoor Air Act prohibits smoking or vaping cannabis anywhere cigarette smoking is banned.

Do I need to be a Minnesota resident to shop at North Shore Dispensary?

No! We welcome all visitors to Duluth who are 21 years of age or older. However, please remember that it is illegal to transport cannabis across state lines (including into Wisconsin or via Duluth International Airport) due to federal regulations.

What form of ID do I need to bring?

To enter our facility and make a purchase, you must present a valid, government-issued photo ID that proves you are 21+. Accepted forms include a state-issued driver’s license, state ID card, tribal ID, or passport.

Can I gift cannabis products to a friend?

In Minnesota, it is legal to “gift” cannabis flower or products to another adult (21+) as long as the amount does not exceed the legal public possession limit (2 ounces). However, you cannot sell cannabis or trade it for any value without a retail license.

Is there a tax on cannabis products?

Yes. In addition to standard state and local sales taxes, Minnesota imposes a 15% Cannabis Tax on all retail sales of adult-use cannabis products. This tax helps support the state’s oversight and community programs.

Can I bring my pet with me?

While we love our local furry friends, state regulations for cannabis retail environments prohibits pets in the retail space with the exception of certified service animals.
